Julian C. Chambliss is Associate Professor of History at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. His teaching and research focus urban history and culture in the United States.  Dr. Chambliss serves as coordinator of the Africa and African-American Studies Program at Rollins, Coordinator of the Media Arts and Culture Special Interest Section for the Florida Conference of Historians and as a board member of the Society for American City and Regional Planning History.
