Completely Automated Flour Mill, Philadelphia, 1785.

Oliver Evans built this completely automated flour mill in the Eighteenth century. From the wagon on the right to the ship docked on the left, no human hand was needed to convert the wheat seeds into flour and bag it for shipment. Many experts suggest Oliver Evans -- an original genius -- fostered four far reaching inventions:

1. Automated milling

2. Steam engine (high pressure)

3. steam driven locomotion

4. refrigeration

All of these ingenious contributions took place before 1800!
