The Two Models of
Ecological Thinking:
Functional Parts | Concentric spheres |
systemic thinking and feedback | relational thinking and flows |
While both of these models are based on ecological thinking meaning the flows of sources to resources are tracked and identified, the first model inspects the natural flows that sustain ecological communities, while the second model places the human world in relation to the natural world or ecological core on which the utilitatrian, economic and spiritual values rest.
