Rollins College is situated on Karst topography,
in the St. Johns River valley, with a sub-tropical climate with distinct
wet and dry seasons (winter is usually dry, while summer is the rainy season).
Fall is actually the start of a second growing season in Florida for fruits,
vegetables and exotic plants.
